Arunmani Palani

Arunmani Palani is from Salem India where he worked as an assistant director for an Indian television series. He moved to the United States and began studying film as a graduate student at Chapman University. Arun won Best Cinematography at the 2005 Cecille B Demille Filmmaker Awards, and a nominee for the American Society of Cinematographers Charles B. Lang Heritage award in the 19th annual ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Cinematography 2005. Arun was also awarded the 2004 Fotokem Grant for his thesis film.
After graduation he moved to India and began his career as a Director of Photography. He is a member of the South Indian Cinematographer’s Association. He shot India’s first 3D TV series, which for a lot of reasons did not make it on air. He has been trained by the one and only Daniel Symmes on 3D Production and Post-Production techniques.
He has TV series, two features, documentaries and a few commercials to his credit in the past two years.
Currently in talks to shoot a major Bollywood feature film.
